Week 2 - Using the wordpress software to build my EDT6035 course webpage 3 was cumbersome at times. The most frustrating part was getting a link to a powerpoint file to open up and launch the presentation in a separate window. I did not want users to just read the file, I wanted them to hear it also and the only way I could ensure they "heard" it was to have it launch in the show. The solution I finally arrived at was to save the file locally as a .pps (powerpoint show) and then upload that file to google docs then provide the google doc link as the link on my webpage.
